Okay, I feel like I just did this...oh wait, because I did.
But I figured that if I just did one video per bag it would make the video shorter for you guys.
It's all for you ;)
Anyway, here's what I got this month:
What a glorious thumbnail, no?
No really.
One of my readers suggested that I change up my personality thing on Ipsy's site so maybe my bags will start getting better. It worked! (thanks Lovely) I was pretty happy with my bag this month.
My November bag is already being shipped so I'm sure I'll be back soon with my November bag!

August and September Ipsy Bags!
So, I get pretty awkward once again in this video. I was in a strange mood (maybe just how I normally am, you'll never know.) which might explain some of the awkwardness.
Anyway, this is what I got in my past two month's bags. Like I said in the video, I am thinking about canceling my Ipsy subscription. The quality has seemed to go down recently and I find that I just keep giving most of my products away. Let me know what your thoughts are!

May Ipsy Bag
I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend to remember all those who've served for our country!
It's that time again... I'm sharing what I got in my monthly Ipsy bag.
It's that time again... I'm sharing what I got in my monthly Ipsy bag.
I feel like I say this every time, but I really believe that this is the best bag to date! I was so happy with all 5(!!) products and I really feel like I got way more than my $10 worth!
What they say:
The Therapy Session Hair Mask deeply conditions, repairs and strengthens dry and damaged hair. Argan Oil nourishes and revitalizes, while Keravis Protein drastically increases hair’s strength and elasticity. The results are hydrated, soft and manageable hair.
What I say: This smells amazing and makes my hair so soft and smooth! I definitely recommend this.
2. Mineral Eye Shadow Duo by Pacifica in Celestial and Opal
What they say:
The Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo are coconut infused mineral eye shadows that are a perfect addition to any makeup collection. Packaged in a beautiful travel ready recyclable container, these exclusive duos are customized just for ipsy! These shades can be found in the Pacifica Mystical and Charmed Palette. Smooth application with gorgeous color pay-off.
What I say:
I am already a huge fan of this brand, so I was excited to try these! I love the shades, great for everyday wear. I apply the warm shade all around the lid and then highlight with the lighter shade along my brow bone and inner eye. It's such an easy, but beautiful everyday eye look!
What they say:
Bronzing has never been so delicious. The Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer is a shimmer-free, matte bronzer perfect for contouring and creating an all-over deep tan using real antioxidant-rich cocoa powder. It’s all the tan without the twinkle. Infused with antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and signature bronzing pigments to create a unique matte bronzer that neutralizes red and evens skin tone.
What I say:
You guys know I am already a huge fan of this bronzer! It was a favorite of mine for a while, so I was happy to see it in my bag. I looooove the smell of this, chocolate, but it does go away once applied to the face. It's a great shade, even though I'm pale, it's not too dark. This will be great travel size to take on trips!
What they say:
Protect and nourish your skin with our clear, lightweight, naturally scented sunscreen. Provides maximum water resistance and full body coverage against harmful UVA/UVB rays.
What I say: Sunscreen is always a good thing...this will definitely be thrown into my beach bag this summer! It smells a bit like coconuts, which I love.
What they say:
Known for its long history in treating atopic dermatitis, the Avène Thermal Spring Water is the only thermal spring water bottled directly from the source and packaged in a sterile environment to guarantee purity and maximum skin benefits. Its unique composition is proven to soothe inflammation, itching, redness, general sensitivity and post-medical and aesthetic procedure irritation as it softens, protects and purifies the skin. Avène Thermal Spring Water is recommended by dermatologists worldwide.
Spray onto the skin in a fine mist. May leave on for 2 to 3 minutes, and then gently pat dry. Ideal for use after cleansing, shaving, exercise, sun, to soothe diaper rash and set make-up to help keep it fresher looking longer.
What I say: I was so intrigued by this product, as I've never tried anything like this before. It works great on the skin to remove any excess oil, and I can't wait to apply it after I shave (I get bad bumps). This is such a multi-use product, I will definitely get lots of use out of it.

March Ipsy Bag
I'm back for another round of what I got in my Ipsy bag this month!
As always, to sign up for Ispy, click here.
I have to say I was a bit disappointed when I only saw 4 products this month. Typically it's 5, so I've been spoiled! Good thing I liked all the products ;)
What they say:
The Bora Bora Eyeshadow Quad contains a highly pigmented long lasting formula for all day wear.
What I say: The shadows are surprisingly very pigmented, especially when wet! I'm not too sure how much use I will get out of these shades, but I think they'd be perfect for summer. I love the idea of using that blue shade as an eyeliner. {swatches of the shades below}
2.Body Butter by Pacifica in scent Indian Coconut Nectar
What they say:
Smell incredible with our nourishing and anti-oxidant rich ingredients. The Pacifica Body Butter helps fight signs of aging while adding deep moisture and protection. Made with nature's best moisturizers - shea butter, almond oil and safflower oil - Pacifica’s paraben-free Body Butter is a skin must-have. Now available in tubes in our best-selling fragrances, making them easy to take with you anywhere.
What I say: I love this lotion! It smells so yummy and really moisturizes my skin nicely. It sinks into my skin fast too, so that's a plus.
What they say:
Make an impact with Marvelous Moxie™ Lipstick. Creamy, super-saturated, ultra-pigmented color glides on like butter for full coverage in a rich satin finish. Lips look fuller and more voluptuous. An infusion of minerals revitalizes lips for a healthy-looking pout, while a moisture-loaded hydrating complex helps to nourish and condition with Abyssinian Oil and Omega Fatty Acids for supple, baby-soft smoothness. All the while, an encapsulated vitamin A, C and E complex helps to deliver antioxidant defense, so you’re ready for anything—and everything. Learn more about Marvelous Moxie™ here.
What I say: I looooove this lipstick! It's such a gorgeous shade and is so moisturizing and smooth on my lips! This shade is the perfect 'my lips but better' shade for my own lips. (they are pretty pigmented on their own!) I will definitely be interested in trying other shades, too.
What they say:
Nicole by OPI launches Roughles (“ruffles”) - 4 new textured nail lacquers featuring speckled, pastel shades of purple, pink, turquoise and yellow. When the lacquer dries, Roughles lacquers reveal a unique pebbled finish. For the perfect matte effect, skip the top coat!
What I say: I'm not a big fan on matte nail polish nor textured polish, so I don't think I will be using this much. I will say I love the color, it's the perfect aqua!

January Ipsy Bag
Ah, I am a bit late with this, but nevertheless, here it is! Here's what I got in my Ipsy bag last month:
*Excuse the terrible photos, I had to use my phone.*
1. Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow in Penny
What they say:
The ultimate gel pencil that’s smooth like butter and packed with deliciously creamy colors. These velvety pencils glide on with ease, and contain just enough shimmer. They’re also waterproof and perfect to wear all day and night, a must have for all color lovers! Use a cosmetics sharpener for best results.
What I say: I can definitely attest that this is waterproof. I swatched it on my hand early in the day, and after several hand washes later, it was did not budge by 11pm that night. In fact, when I went to use a makeup remover, there was still a faint line! I love the color I received and will use it both as a shadow base and as an eyeliner!
2. Soothing and Smoothing Eye Cream by skin
What they say:
The skiin Soothing and Smoothing Eye Cream is a full spectrum eye cream that instantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while working hard to reduce dark circles and puffiness. Helps reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, stimulates collagen production and whitens for a uniform complexion.
What I say:
I don't really use eye creams as often as I should, but I threw this one in my drawer to remind myself to use it. It's nice and smooth, but I can't really say that it depuffed and helped my dark circles. Either way, it's a great moisturizer for under the eye.
3. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner by Sexy Hair
What they say:
The Sexy Hair Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner is a powerful combination of Soy and Cocoa work synergistically to perfectly care for your hair! A conditioner that is both a nourishing moisturizer and mild protein reconstructor and safe to use on color-treated hair. This truly amazing conditioner reconstructs, moisturizes and combats environmental stress on all types of hair.
What I say:I like this product! I've been spraying it in my hair after showering before combing and it really makes my hair soft and smooth. It smells great and leaves my hair feeling even better.
4. Proactive + Mark Fading Pads
What they say:
The Proactiv+ Mark Fading Pads are a convenient, single-use, no-rinse peel pad that can instantly boost your skin’s glow and radiance. The pads help remove dead skin cells to unclog pores and remove dull layers to reveal newer, smoother, more even toned skin. With just a few quick swipes you can help fade away post acne dark marks, reduce the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores.
What I say:
I've never been a "proactiv girl" so I just kinda turned my nose up to these and hadn't used them. But as I was reading the claims above, I think I will give them a chance. I don't really suffer from discoloration or dark spots, but I do have enormous pores, so I'd be intrigued to see if these really help that!
5. Mojito Lip Balm by MALIN+GOETZ
What they say:
The (MALIN+GOETZ) Mojito Lip Balm is as soothing to the lips as it is to the senses. Flavored with (MALIN+GOETZ) Mojito, this lip balm is scientifically blended to restore and replenish. The hydrating lip gel easily integrates for daily maintenance, prevention and treatment of dry, irritated lips. Color and Paraben free.
What I say:
This has become a product that I use in my routine daily! I would hardly call this a lip balm, as it's more of a clear gel like a gloss but I love it because it doesn't feel like a lip gloss (There's nothing I hate more than putting sticky gel on one's lips) It gives me great shine and also helps my dry cracked lips. I only wished it smelled like mint like the name implies!
That's all I got this month... overall I am really impressed with everything I got.

December Ipsy Bag
As always, to sign up for ipsy, click here.
What they say:
This palette of hues adds definition & intensity to lids, creating a broad range of looks that complements all eye colours. From brightening bare to sultry smoke, these hues blend smoothly onto the lid, adding a veil of silky luster that will outlive the day or night!
What I say: I liked these. They were nicely pigmented and were smooth and had a buttery feel. I don't wear smokey eyes all that often, but when I do, I will definitely use this!
What they say:
An all-in-one multiple stick with a smooth texture. Apply to eyelids, cheeks or lips for the perfect pop of color anywhere!
What I say:
I think that this is a very clever idea! I think that this product would be perfect to throw in your purse because it really does have a bunch of different uses. This shade could be used as a lipstick, blush and even a highlight!
What they say:
The Nicka K New York is specially designed to glide across fingernails with minimal effort for vibrancy that is dazzling and long lasting. Formula is free of DBP, Toublene, and formaldehyde.
What I say: This was the product I was most excited about! I love the color (taupe is my friend) and the bottle is absolutely gorgeous!! I have yet to actually paint this on my nails yet, but I will soon.
What they say:
A classic lipstick for all occasions that has a mineral-based emollient formula, beautiful velvet texture, saturated color, and resists wear and smudging.
What I say: While this lipstick may be creamy and might last for a while, the color I received is so bad I will never wear this. It's a dark orangey-brown lipstick, and while it may look good on some people, it certainly does not look good on me. Bummer!
What they say:
Ardell’s Natural lashes are perfect for enhancing your eyes for an everyday look. These are the most popular lashes as they give the desired, natural look of full, beautiful lashes. Lightweight and reusable, these lashes are permanently curled, waterproof, comfortable to wear and easy to apply.
What I say:
False lashes are not a typical part of my routine, but I was happy to receive some for any special occasions I might have. These look very natural and feel very lightweight.
Here are the swatches of the products!

November Ipsy Bag
I feel like I say this every month, but I swear this is the best bag yet!
I was shocked to get 6 products this month (normally 4-5) and all the products were things I'd actually wear and brands that I like or have been wanting to try!
Here's what I got:
Starting from the left...
What they say:
Glamour is an attitude as much as a look, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't look the part...all the way down to your fingertips! Just in time for the year's most glamorous season, nailtini is serving ipsters gorgeous nails in two shimmering shades - icy golden Champagne and molten pewter Caviar Cocktail. The perfect finishing touch to glam it up head to toe!
Just one of Nailtini's top-shelf, 3-free nail lacquer, available in dozens of shades, textures and finishes. Wear them alone or layered to create custom looks and effects, each one a cocktail unto itself. Cheers to beauty, and as always, apply responsibly!
What I say: I have a slight obsession with rose gold recently so I couldn't be more excited when I saw this color!
I've tried Nailtini before and like them, and this is by far the best color ever.
I even like it better than Essie's Penny Talk.
Only thing is that I've used it several times already and it definitely shows in the picture above :)
What they say:
A glossy lip crayon with a smooth texture that is perfect for travel and touch-ups on the go.
To use: Apply to top and bottom lips for full coverage. For sheer coverage, apply to lower lip only and blot lips together. For more color, apply several coats until you receive desired results.
What I say: This is a great, classic red. I like the crayon format because it's easier to apply and to stay in the lines per say. This is not only moisturizing (nothing worse than a dry red) and actually stains the lips so it lasts all day.
What they say:
The TRESemmé® TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray provides flexible control that gives hair hold without the stickiness. The humdity-resistant formula keeps flyaways smooth for 24 hours.
What I say: I've actually been buying this for years. It's great because it holds a curl wonderfully but doesn't leave my chair crunchy. This is a great size to throw in my purse!
What they say:
This bronzing powder gives your complexion the warmth and luminosity of naturally sunkissed skin. Hydrating, silky-smooth & long-wearing, it also protects against free radicals. Contains Vitamin E to protect the skin and mica, which provides dense natural pigment.
What I say:
I was really excited about this because it's the perfect shade for contouring!
Typically, bronzers are used for contouring, but it looks more natural to use a shade like this for that purpose.
I'm pale (real shocker there) and this shade goes great under my cheekbones and under my neck. I only wish this was completely matte, as it has a bit of shimmer in it.
What they say:
The Starlooks Gem Eye Pencils provide a magnificent metallic finish and are so versatile, soft, and creamy that they can be used as a liner or eyeshadow base! Each highly-pigmented, unique pencil has a gorgeous, micro-glitter finish.
What I say: I will admit I was a teensy bit disappointed when I saw another Starlooks eyeliner in my bag, but when I swatched this, I quickly fell in love! This shade is going to be absolutely beautiful for the holidays!
I can't wait to glam it up with this eyeliner.
See what I'm talking about in the swatch below :)
What they say:
Inspired by the girl whose lips deserve as much TLC as she does. This cushiony, lip-smoothing balm gives your lips extra love with a sheer dose of color. Bright pops of color tints for a juicy lip look.
What I say:
I was really excited to see this brand in my bag. (If you don't know, the creator of Ipsy, Michelle Phan, just released her own makeup brand!)
While I don't think that this is ultra moisturizing, I do think it adds a great hint of color and shine to the lips. I just wished it actually smelled like creamsicles!
As always, here's the swatches of all the products.
{ignore the scab on my hand... sorry!}
All in all, I couldn't be more happy with my bag this month! I actually loved all the products (a first for me) and will use each of them.
If you haven't tried Ipsy yet, you are missing out

October Ipsy Bag, 31 Days of LOVE
I have to admit, I get excited every time that pink package comes in my mail.
Overall, I really do love ipsy. I find that there is a great quality and size of product that other subscription services lack. And even though there might be a few dud products for me, I can always find someone to give them to who will really enjoy them.
To sign up for ipsy, click here. I highly recommend it!
Here's what my October bag looked like:
I was really impressed overall this month! I saw a great variety in products, all good!
Anyways, here's a run-down of what I got.
What they say:
The Sexy Hair Blow Gel is an alcohol-free gel that thickens hair while adding volume. It also helps retain moisture so your hair never feels dry. Delivers a light to medium hold.
To use:
Apply to damp hair from roots to ends and blow dry to expand volume.
To use:
Apply to damp hair from roots to ends and blow dry to expand volume.
What I say: I actually never blow dry my hair (shocker, I know) because I shower at night. But I gave this to a friend to try and she liked it. She said the volume was ok, but that it really helped the process go much faster.
(swatch with one coat)
What they say: Part of the Fall 2013 CASHMERES & SATINS Collection, these shades are created to work together with this season's most stylish runway designs and luxurious fabric blends. These ultra long-wearing, glossy nail lacquers by Zoya are BIG5FREE - free of toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and dibutyl phthalate (DBP).
ipsy subscribers will receive Neve, Giovanna, or Mason.
What I say:
If you've been reading these posts for a while now, you'll know that I love Zoya's polishes! They're really pigmented, dry fast and last a while. I like the shade I received, it will be perfect for winter! I'm definitely building my collection.
What they say:
Part of the Fergie Centerstage Collection, the Wet n Wild Photo Op Eyeshadow is a palette containing ultra-pigmented, intense shades that are silky-smooth and longwearing. This palette contains translucent highlights, subtle mattes, and shimmering glitters
What I say: Overall, I think this is a good drugstore palette. The pigmentation is really good on some and just ok on other shades. For the price I think it's a good option.
Below is a swatch of the shades with no primer.
For some reason, this picture makes my arm look weird and disgusting, sorry!
4.
What they say:
The La Fresh® Eco-Beauty® Oil-Free Face Cleanser Wipes gently cleanses and detoxifies skin. Contains pineapple, vitamin E, cucumber, marshmallow, oat, aloe and chamomile extracts. These wipes are biodegradable, compostable and are packaged using clean, renewal solar energy. Paraben-free.
What I say:
These smell great and are really refreshing. I don't think they are strong/wet enough to remove eye-makeup, but they are great when you just need a little refresh.
I'm keeping these in my purse!
and the last thing couldn't fit inside the bag...
What they say:
The Coastal Scents Shadow Brush is a medium sized brush made out of natural fibers that is wide in shape and condensed to allow an even distribution of eyeshadow on the lid. This professional cosmetic brush can be used for shading the crease and highlighting the brow bone with complete precision.
What I say: I'm slowly building up my brush collection, so I was really pleased to see this!
It is really great quality. The bristles are smooth and soft and don't seem to fall off easily. This brush is perfect for really packing on the shadow. I'd definitely be interested in buying more!
That's it! I really feel like I got a lot for my money (just $10!) this month.

September Ipsy Bag
Sign up for Ipsy here!
I actually loved this weeks bag! I love blue and I love lace, so it was right up my alley.
Not in the bag was a sample of EM makeup's new life pallete. It said you couldn't use the samples on your face, but to use them to swatch the products. I was so-so about them, and for $75, I'll pass.
Let's move onto the fun stuff!
Initially, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get the Butter London nail polish, but I got over it ;)
What they say:After a long day, the skyn ICELAND Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels are the perfect solution. The eye patches are easy to apply to the delicate skin under your eyes to reduce wrinkles, restore the tone and firmness, and fight free radicals to prevent premature aging.
Free of parabens, petroleum, mineral oil, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic fragrance and synthetic dye. 100% vegetarian, cruelty-free and allergy-tested.
What I say: I haven't tried these yet, I am waiting until I have puffy eyes. I generally don't struggle with that, but I'm intrigued to see if they actually work!
What they say:An ipsy exclusive launch! This mascara was created using a unique formula that delivers BIG volume and lengthens and curls your lashes without smudging! The hourglass brush ensures that you get the right amount of mascara applied to each lash. Use the It's So Big Volumizing Mascara with the Lash Card and watch your lashes grow bigger with each layer!
What I say: It's really NOT so big. This was a big stinker. It was so stringy and provided no volume. I trashed it. If you want a good laugh and an honest review of this mascara, watch this (it's at the very end). I was crackin' up after! Hehehe "WHY YOU GOTTA LIE". Watch it.
What they say:This ultra matte, super-moisturizing lip balm delivers rich color and amazing staying power. This amazing lip balm is formulated with 3D Smart Film Former, which keeps colors vibrant longer. Includes a built-in brush for easy application. Wear alone or apply with the Cailyn Pearly Shimmer Balm for a more glamorous, shimmery pout. Available in 18 shades.
Glam Bag subscribers who receive this product will receive the Big Apple shade.
What I say: I like this! I expected it to me a moisturizing/shiny product, but it truly is matte. It's a bit drying to me, but I used a chapstick before applying it, though, and I was good to go! I hate hate hate the packaging however. It's so bulky and takes up way too much space. They should've put it in a tube like a traditional chapstick/lip balm and I'd love it 100X more. (They should've consulted me first, hehe!) Oh, and I love the color. It's a great red!
What they say:The NYX Single Eyeshadow packs a punch of color and is incredibly easy to blend. Go edgy or understated effortlessly, and enjoy the luscious, long-wearing color from sunrise to sunset...and beyond!
What I say: I don't like this and I think it's mainly because I got a really ugly color. I don't know anyone who wears bright yellow (it's brighter in person than in the pic) eye shadow. I'm more of a natural girl. It has OK pigmentation, not great, but it's super chalky. You can sorta see that in the picture and it leaves so much fall out. Thumbs down for me.
What they say:The Starlooks Obsidian Kohl Eye Pencil glide across delicate lids without pulling. Try using this creamy liner to create a smoky eye or use it as a base for eyeshadows on your entire lid. Available in 11 stunning and super saturated shades!
What I say: I didn't like this. It's a very 'hard' pencil compared to other eyeliners that are so smooth and go on almost like a gel (Urban decay, Rimmel). It actually hurt my eye to apply this and the pencil itself felt very cheap (for $12!!!). I will say that it has great staying power and lasted all day.
Here's a swatch of all the products:
Overall, not my favorite month, but that's ok! You win some and you lose some. What else can you expect when you don't get to chose what you're getting. That's just the breaks of the game! And just because I don't personally like something doesn't mean it's a bad product, it just didn't work for me. Maybe it will for you!

August's Ipsy Bag
Whew, so after the drama with July's Ipsy bag, I was so relieved to get this month's on time.
I feel like I always say that this was the best one yet, but it really is!
I am so impressed with this bag :)
What they say: The Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream hydrates, primes, illuminates, and perfects leaving a sheer bare skin finish. Specialized mineral pigments instantly adjusts to your skin shade allows one color to work for many and can be built up for just the right amount of coverage. Your skin will look natural, dewy, youthful and radiant without looking like you are wearing heavy make-up.
What I say:
Unfortunately for me, the 'shade matching technology' didn't work and this ended up being way to dark for my skin (even with a tan!), so I gave it to my mom.
I did try it on my arm and was amazed at how smooth it was. I was really bummed I couldn't use it because it'd be perfect for my days on campus.
What they say:The Jojoba Charcoal Gentle Exfoliating Facial Scrub is formulated using the powers of Jojoba Wax Beads and Activated Charcoal. This mask effectively removes dead skin, impurities and toxins, but is gentle enough for sensitive and acne prone skin types. Jojoba Wax Beads provide gentle exfoliation without leaving microlacerations on delicate skin. Highly absorbent Activated Charcoal penetrates deeply into pores to draw out impurities and toxins. Also refines texture and encourages skin renewal, leaving skin smooth and refreshed.
What I say: I was most excited to see this product in my bag. Michael Todd has become so popular, so I was really excited to be able to sample some. I love charcoal products for my skin because it really helps get rid of my black heads. I haven't tried this yet, but I plan on using it tonight!
What they say: This unique mascara truly boosts your lashes, giving them a "push-up" effect that lasts all day. The dense, rich formula coats lashes with maximum pigment, for long-lasting full color and the cone-shaped brush coats each lash evenly. Long lasting, smudge-free and waterproof.
What I say: To be honest, I haven't tried this yet because I literally have several other mascaras I need to use up before they go bad. I like the brush on this, though, and it appears to be a more dry formula, which I like. We will see :)
What they say: MicaBeauty Mineral Eyeshadows are extremely gentle, free of preservatives, chemicals, dyes, talc, oils, and other fillers. With this unique formula, the eyeshadows will look ultra smooth and stay put for hours without creasing or pulling the delicate eye area. Can be mixed with clear lip-gloss, clear mascara, and clear nail polish to add pigment to lips, eyelashes and nails!
What I say: I'm not a fan of 'loose' products because they are so messy! I really wish this was a pressed eyeshadow because it really is gorgeous. It's almost a metallic bronze color that would look great swiped all over the lid.
What they say:Urban Decay's Pigment Infusion System™ delivers insane color payoff with creamy shine, Maxi-Lip™ plumps and nourishing oils leave lips cushiony soft. Get the color you crave. Addictive to apply (and even more addictive to wear), this creamy formula glides on without dragging or skipping, hugs every curve and gives you a BIG laydown of color. There's a wide range of colors - from gorgeous nudes to bold brights, there’s something for everyone. Our luxe, custom-designed gunmetal tube (lined in dark purple) features organically shaped facets that practically beg to be touched. You’ll want to keep pulling it out of your bag—whether it’s time to reapply or not.
What I say: OK, so I may have lied earlier because I was super excited when I saw this! I am a big Urban Decay fan, and this lipstick certainly did not disappoint. They don't lie when they say the pigmentation is insane, it really is! The color is pretty and bright, and it feels so good on the lips (like chapstick!) I'm adding these onto my birthday list!

July's Ipsy Bag
So, as I'm sure you're aware, it's August.
I never got to post July's Ipsy bag because I just now received it in the mail. {Long story, but it was lost in the mail}
As always, you can sign up for Ipsy here.
Even though it's a couple weeks late, here was July's Glam Bag:
Overall, it was a really exciting bag! I saw lots of high-end products and a good mix of different products. I didn't like the bag this month, but like always, I could do without the bag anyways and replace that with more products.
What they say:This BH Cosmetics makeup palette includes a shade from each of the California Collection palettes: Hollywood, San Francisco, and Malibu.
What I say:
Initially, I was kind of turned off. I didn't like the shades because I'm more of a natural shadow kind of girl. The pigmentation is not good (see swatches below). I wouldn't recommend these at all.
What they say: Benefit's original rose-tinted stain is kiss-proof, see-through color for lips & cheeks that lasts for hours. Naturally sheer & sexy on all complexions...it’s innocent yet provocative. It's loved by celebs, makeup artists and gals around the world. It's the sexiest flush you can get from a bottle!
What I say:
I have several other samples of Benefits liquid stains, and I rarely ever use them just because I'm not a liquid makeup person (if that even makes sense). I just prefer to be able to quickly apply makeup and I think liquid products take more time than a powder product.
That being said, I like the color of this one the best, and although it doesn't really show up on my cheeks, it works great as a lip stain. I'm glad to now have this color in my collection!
What they say: Keep the sun and environment at bay with this SPF 20 broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen; a clear, Titanium Dioxide based formula (for those who are Zinc sensitive) made with 98% natural ingredients. Organic Acai Oil - high in Omegas-3/6/9, Vitamins B1/2/3, plus antioxidant Vitamins C and E - delivers a powerful defense against aging. Organic Sunflower Seed Extract promotes elasticity while organic Linseed Oil, containing Alpha-Linolenic Acids, reduces redness and irritation. The phyto-protector Plankton Extract rejuvenates, as organic Cucumber Extract calms skin.
This sunscreen is hypoallergenic, paraben-free, ultra sheer, anti-aging, and water resistant for 40 minutes.
What I say: I so wish I had gotten this sooner because I so could've used it at the beach!
I loooooove that this doesn't have that distinct 'sunscreen' smell, so I feel like I can wear this every day.
I might just have to purchase the full size!
(Say that 5x fast)
What they say:
Creates beachy undone texture that looks and feels like you’ve spent a day at the beach. Contains argan oil which helps nourish, protect and heal hair damage.
What I say: I've yet to actually try this, so I can't really review that aspect, but the smell is amazing.
I've tried the Not Your Mothers beach spray and hated it and I've tried the Lush Spray and loved it. So it should be interesting to see how this one performs!
What they say:POP's Pouty Pop Crayon nourishes, treats, and adds that perfectly-plumped pop to lips. These extra-nourishing balms gently bounce onto lips creating a plumped & pillowy pout leaving them with luscious, long-lasting colour with a super-smooth texture. Available in six shades.
What I say: I love the concept of lipstick crayons. In fact, everyone I try, I love!
This one is no exception. The color is good (I wish I got the coral shade!) and pretty pigmented. I love the smell of this the most, it's minty! This is the perfect product to throw in your purse!
and the last thing I received was a bonus... How cool right!
I got this Selena Gomez Nicole by OPI nail polish because a few of my AWESOME readers subscribed to ipsy because of my posts! Thank you, thank you, thank you guys!
Below are the swatches of the products:
(The shadows were swatched several times to reach this color.)
Overall, I really liked this bag! It might've been late, but it was worth it!

Here's what I got this month:

Starlooks Makeup Line is entirely Lead Free, and Cruelty Free.
What I say:
While I've never heard of this brand before, I really liked the quality of this pencil. It's super creamy and long lasting. Only thing is that I normally never where Lip liner and hardly ever wear darker shades like this one is.

What They Say:
Everyone loves a little sparkle! Add a healthy dosage of sparkle in your life with the cream palette that comes in a variety of complementing colors. The creamy texture allows the sparkle to be applied easily with an applicator onto your skin.
This product should be used on the body and not on the eye area.
This product should be used on the body and not on the eye area.
What I say:
If the swatches above don't give you any indication on this, take it from me. This is terrible.
It's so blotchy and not creamy at all.
Oh Yeah, see that last part? You're not supposed to use this on your eyes.
So what is the point? I certainly am not going to wear black glitter on my body.
Maybe I'll save this for halloween, or not.
What They say:
Whether you are trying to create the eyes of a runway model or the classic look of a 60's Hollywood star, the Cailyn Line-Fix Gel Eyeliner can make any style possible! The easy to use built-in brush makes it perfect for taking on-the-go. Create a chic yet casual look right before work, and then update it for a night out with the girls. The Cailyn Line-Fix Gel Eyeliner brushes on smooth and stays moist just long enough for wearers to perfect their look. Once dry, the gel is smudge-proof and waterproof for 24 hours. The highly concentrated pigment of the liner creates lusciously smooth lines and is safe for sensitive eyes.
What I say:
I like this! At first, I was worried that it was going to be too bright to actually wear, but the color turns out a lot darker than it is in the pot. I love that there is a built in brush which makes this perfect for travel.
For some reason, I can't find the picture of the blush...sorry!
What They Say:
The NYX Powder Blush delivers sheer, silky color that glides on and blends beautifully creating a natural glow.
What I Say:
I've been wanting to try these for forever, so I was super excited when I got this!
I really liked this blush. The pigmentation is wonderful, I swiped my brush once and had to tap off the excess because it was that pigmented. The color is really pretty too!
What they say:
Chella's Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil is a fresh and pretty neutral pencil that will brighten and visibly lift your eyes when lightly applied on the brow bone, dark circles, blemishes and red spots. Draw a line under the brow with this creamy pencil and then pat gently into place using your ring finger. May be used above the brow for additional highlighting, as well as anywhere you would use a concealer.
What I say:
I loved this too! It works great (very creamy) and goes well with my skin tone. It's great to highlight under your brow bone, and above your cupids bow!
Here's a swatch of all the products (Except suspicious "body" glitter):
