You see, I couldnt be happier that it is Friday, which means the weekend is here.

No plans, just happy to have my family home :)

it's a lot today, mainly because I've combined two weeks worth of pictures!

It was my last night babysitting yesterday. It was sad. (I am leaving for the summer)

I will definitely miss this funny, stubborn, amazingly adorable smile. 

and this one too. He just started loving to color. So that is just what we did. Color. 

and laugh, and wipe a few tears. 

I attempted to be an overachiever with my coloring skills, but failed miserably. 

I promptly ripped it up and buried it.

I also got lots of snuggle time with their doggie. I love him too.

got my new summer bag from The Pleated Poppy and am so in love!

I even got a new wallet to match!

a while ago my family and I went to a B'not mitzvah. It was our first time, and we really enjoyed it!

It was really interesting learning all of the culture!

my mouth is watering. I love fresh, crunchy, sea-salty asparagus.

so good. and so healthy.

this has been my world the past few days.

I self medicated with cookies. Only the best of course: peanut butter blossoms!

I also found out that I actually "like" coffee. Well sorta, only when hot chocolate is mixed in with it. 

I believe the fancy term is a Mocha.

it is so yum!

and freshly baked strawberry banana bread is pretty great too!

and lastly, my weirdo dog. I heard noises upstairs one afternoon and went to investigate. I couldnt figure out what it was until I opened my shower curtain and see my dog. crazy. He likes to play under my leaky faucet for some weird reason.

First friday of summer! I am beyond excited!

Kicking off the season with my cell pictures for the week!

Keeping with our tradition and doing our sunday family bike rides! This time, our pup, kipper, went along for the ride.

so fun!

I was so inspired that I even rode again later in the week. Loving this spring weather, while it lasts for all of 4 hours.

I refreshed after with a passion tea. So yummy and for only a dollar something and the fact that it has zero calories, I am in love!

Letting this kiddo fake drive is the funniest thing ever. Except for when I get in the car after I leave and my wipers go crazy and every single light is on in my car. Ya, fun times. 

just a random shot of me. yes, still hate my hair. Still regret ever stepping into the salon. boooo!

let me tell you that this is the best meal ever. It would have been better if I had fresh basil, but its still pretty great. hint water is the bomb. (cant believe I just used that phrase.)

Oh sleepy doggies. Arent they adorable. This little guy was sound asleep and having wild dreams. He kept barking and yelping....hehe so cute

Nothing spectaular going on this weekend, but it will probably contain lots of studying. You see, Finals are next week... then Summmahhh!!! can I get a whoop whoop??

Oh how I love summer. Well except for the texas 110 degrees weather that literally kills me everytime. 

Im that weird person that would rather be freezing than hot. yuck. I hate heat. 

man, did I get off topic...

back to instafriday:

Fun times nannying this cute little kiddo. He makes me smile :)

Why am I putting this on here?? Ok, let me explain my super ugly appearance. (please dont think I look like this normally). So this was saturday morning with my family eating breakfast. Normally, my mom and I get up super early and go garage-saleing on saturday. This usually includes getting dressed in the dark and grabbing what ever I can find, then brushing my teeth and running out the door. No time for glamour. And trust me, the other "salers" dont care that much but still.you see what no poor soul should see...my awful uncleaned, no makeup, unbrushed hair and face. 

yuck.

after the breakfast, I was relieved to go to work. Thats how bad it was. 

but I did get lots of snuggling time in with their dog. He is so cute!

I really dont know how to caption this picture other than to say that we were waiting at the car-wash and everyone was "super" thrilled.

My mom, brother and family friend and I decided to go on a bike ride...

it was so much fun! Although, let me say, never take pictures while riding a bike. very dangerous. 

oh, another great tip is to not open your mouth with screaming "OMG THERE IS A BUNNY IN THE ROAD, SWERVE!!!" because you will get bugs in your mouth. guaranteed. 

I am pretty sure I have the coolest bike ever. 

ok, so my mom's is pretty sweet too. 

its a close second. 

ahh, pretty wildflowers! One good thing about texas during the spring are all the gorgeous wildflowers! 

Saw these indian paintbrushes and unknown white flowers on our bike ride!

We did stop, however, to look at the creek behind our house. It was so beautiful! It was low because we havent had a lot of rain. I cant wait until it is though, because I want to swim in it during the summer! so fun!

Every month our local groomer throughs a party at a restaurant, where you can bring your dog on the patio and have dinner. This was our first time going and it was a blast! This little fella kept stealing our fries behind our backs...he was sneaky! but oh so cute!

My little pooch loved it as well. She loved meeting all the other dogs!

She also loved inspecting the butterfly that kept fluttering around me. 

So, if you're wondering my my blog is titled what it is, it's because of this. 

My aunt told me when I was a little girl that butterflies are angels that watch over you.

Ever since then, I noticed that butterflies follow me. no seriously. They fly by when I'm driving, flutter around me when I ride my bike, even land on me at dinner...

 Now, every time I see one I smile and think of what my aunt had said. 

isnt this how we all feel sometimes??? I feel like I could fall asleep right now!  TGIF right??

This little guy was kaput during dinner on the patio. 

You gotta admit, that face is killer!

It was a busy busy week for me... I felt like the to do list was non-stop. This means my pics are kinda lame this week, but whatevs. 

(I would totally never say that in "real" life by the way)

I was very emotional on saturday, so my mom brought home the best medicine around: sugar cookies from my favorite bakery!

By the way, I meant to take a picture before I ate them, but as you can see, I just couldn't wait. 

This was after I got my hair cut. Im so glad I took a picture of it after she styled it, because when I tried on my own, it turned out awful. I am really bad at hair. its so not my thing.

So right now, I am hating my hair. :(

Im pretty sure that after the 5th hour of my cramming-for-a-test-the-next-day session, my head was going to explode. I never have been a studier, but now that I am in college, it is a must. 

still kinda sucks though :(

So, If you remember last week's insta-friday , I showed you all that scrapbook paper... well here is what I was doing with it. These are washer necklaces I am selling at a booth at the longest yard sale in august. What do you think?

I got to hang with this cute little guy for a bit on tuesday. He is so cute! 

I LOVE my job!

I found this brobee? (spelling??) from yo gabba gabba (his favorite show) at goodwill

He was SOOO excited! It was so funny; he kept feeding him goldfish and snuggling with him on the couch. Needless to say, he loved it!

When we dont feel like cooking, we have a "family picnic" I cherish these! We go to the store and buy yummy snacks, then go back home and watch a movie and enjoy quality family time. 

This time we enjoyed grapes, a variety of cheese, french bread with brie and raspberry, spinach dip and bagel crisps

While searching the cheese isle looking for things for our picnic, we came across this. YUCK! yes that does say strawberry chardonnay cheddar cheese! Can you say NASTY?? It even had specks of real strawberry in it!

This is what I have been listening to all week. Frank came up in my pandora playlist and I was jamming to some sinatra, you know, dancing with my hairbrush!

and focus! My older brother was planning his honeymoon with the help of my mom and I.

He chose disneyworld. Should be interesting huh?

I about died when I saw this at target.  Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author (don't judge! not all his books were my fav) So when I saw all the books with the movies, I almost cried. 

I already have every book, so now I want to collect the movies (right now I have of course the notebook and a walk to remember. I have seen all of them though!)

I only have like 2 I haven't read yet. Im taking my time, you cant rush these things!

Right now, I am rereading the lucky one in honor of the movie... which I WILL be seeing this weekend!

and finally, a spur of the moment trip to marble slab. Ice cream cures everything right?

Its Friday the 13th oooooh are you scared?? Im not superstitous at all, but I do enjoy hearing about others crazy (or normal) superstitions! 

Anyways,  This weekend brings me no specific plans but I cant wait. I love just relaxing and not having to worry about being somewhere.

This is the park right by my house. I love watching the sunset between the hills in the park. It is so beautiful and serene. (this picture doesnt do it justice!)

Let me bask in the beauty of this picture for a moment. This picture makes me grin ear to ear! My dog,(sydney, an Australian Shepherd (yes I realize how cheesy that name is but I didnt pick it )) is such a love bug. She was so dirty from playing in the mud, that I plopped her in the shower to clean her off. She just stood there like a statue, looking at me with those adorable puppy dog eyes! I love her so! 

She sure does clean up nice huh? Can you tell how much I love her???? 

As soon as I opened my easter basket, I put this beauty on, and haven't taken it off yet! (except for showers of course :D) This necklace means so much to me, and it makes me smile every time I look down at it!

This is Texas weather for ya! They predicted rain all week, and it didnt rain once! not a single drop!

I was so looking forward to wearing my wellies too,

Bummer.

This is the reality of the week in weather. 105 degrees. yup. in APRIL! 

way too hot for my taste!

Why am I boring you with talk about weather? I guess that was the only thing on my mind this week...sorry :(

This crazy weather had me dreaming of touching my feet into a soft sandy beach, and listening to the waves crash against the shore. I'd so rather be there, than here in 105 degrees terror! 

But, my mind is always on vacation, even though my body is not!

I cooled off by sipping on this ginormous 1/2 priced sonic strawberry limeade...or in other words, heaven in a cup. So yummy!

I think this was Friday's moon. It was so bright, I could see everything without my lamp on! It was crazy!

question: How does one take a "good" picture of the moon?? All mine sucked and according to my brother, I wasnt "doing it right" He told me this, but never showed me how to do it correctly! Oh, brothers! gotta love em right?

Spent my thursday looking like this. Covered in powdered sugar and cake batter. Can you tell how swollen my feet are??? I was baking a cake for my mom's co-worker, and it took all. day.long. no joke!

I was exhausted!

But I think it turned out okay. Not my best work, but I had a cake-tastrophe where the top layer fell and smashed the bottom...it was awful. So, considering all that, it turned out, well, not bad...

just dont look too close at it :)
