Insta-saturday!

Hmm. I may have missed instafriday, but I'm sure posting on a saturday couldn't hurt.

Be ready for picture overload,

last week, before we left for my grandparents, I babysat this little dude.

We watched diego and he fell asleep.

adorable.

After, we headed to the interstate to begin our 14 hour drive to northwest georgia.

and by we, I mean myself, my brother, my mom, and our two dogs.

one of which had never been on a road trip before.

add on the fact we drive the world's smallest car (a ford fiesta)

it was fun.

(i'm using that term loosely)

but it was worth it because this is what we arrived to.

yum.

On christmas, we watched one of my favorite movies.

a classic in our household.

I tell ya, if this isn't true love,

then I don't know what is.

we drove 45 minutes to go to downtown Chattanooga.

I love it!

The weather was iffy.

but beautiful nonetheless.

Then we went to the E.P.B building to look at their windows all decked out for Christmas.

It was awesome!

this guy was so cute!

too bad he's stuffed.

So cool, huh!?!

and we had some pretty cool family time.

actually, lots of it.

This morning I woke up to this!

snow and fog.

love this house

and this mountain.

and this family.

Well, folks we made it.

The end of the world.

I, personally, cannot wait for the apocalypse

because then I don't have to do laundry.

but that's another story.

While nannying, I get to hang out with this guy.

He had an infection in his teeth, so they all had to be removed.

Which makes his tongue just hang out

on the side of his mouth.

Someone I know

is getting a really cool package

Then, I got the stink eye from my dog.

fun.

and I officially got the best birthday present. ever.

Insta-Friday

Well, we made it folks.

It's friday, which means  I am studying like crazy for my final, and tonight we are doing a family tradition: Christmas Light Looking!

Does your family do this?

We get all cozy in pj's and blankies, then hop in the car and crank up the christmas music.

We stop and get hot chocolate and then drive around for hours just looking at lights.

I look forward to it every year!

Monday was my Mom's Birthday, and my oldest brother wasn't feeling well.

He took the day off work and I took the day of school.

We had a blast! I love hanging out with him. He is so smart and knowledgeable. 

Here we are shopping at khols picking up my moms present: A record player!

So November and December are crazy months around here. My birthday is the 17th my little brother's is the 21st, and my moms is december 3rd. So, by the time my mom's birthday rolls around, we are all sick of cake. 

I opted to make homemade rice krispies to fill the void (also because they're her favorite).

They were delish!

Later that day, we went to our local downtown and saw Christmas Vacation at the old theatre.

Well, our downtown also happens to be the Christmas Capital of Texas. Like for real.

The entire street is decked out, complete with this gorgeous tunnel of lights.

I was in love.

See, I don't lie!

The coolest part was this tree that "danced" to music.

It was awesome!

Town Hall couldn't be forgotten either!

Even though I had such a fabulous day playing "hickey" from school,

the next day I had to get back to reality.

Finals.... they will be the death of me.

which also leads me to this amaze-balls picture.

Oh, you know, the usual.

Obviously, I just forgot to say goodbye.

I have a confession:

I am a terrible wrapper.

Seriously. so bad.

My mom actually banned me from it.

So I just watch and attempt to learn.

But my skills are still awful.

Hey, at least I am really really good at unwrapping!

I feel the need to break into song, but I will restrain for your sake. 

You see, I couldnt be happier that it is Friday, which means the weekend is here.

No plans, just happy to have my family home :)

it's a lot today, mainly because I've combined two weeks worth of pictures!

It was my last night babysitting yesterday. It was sad. (I am leaving for the summer)

I will definitely miss this funny, stubborn, amazingly adorable smile. 

and this one too. He just started loving to color. So that is just what we did. Color. 

and laugh, and wipe a few tears. 

I attempted to be an overachiever with my coloring skills, but failed miserably. 

I promptly ripped it up and buried it.

I also got lots of snuggle time with their doggie. I love him too.

got my new summer bag from The Pleated Poppy and am so in love!

I even got a new wallet to match!

a while ago my family and I went to a B'not mitzvah. It was our first time, and we really enjoyed it!

It was really interesting learning all of the culture!

my mouth is watering. I love fresh, crunchy, sea-salty asparagus.

so good. and so healthy.

this has been my world the past few days.

I self medicated with cookies. Only the best of course: peanut butter blossoms!

I also found out that I actually "like" coffee. Well sorta, only when hot chocolate is mixed in with it. 

I believe the fancy term is a Mocha.

it is so yum!

and freshly baked strawberry banana bread is pretty great too!

and lastly, my weirdo dog. I heard noises upstairs one afternoon and went to investigate. I couldnt figure out what it was until I opened my shower curtain and see my dog. crazy. He likes to play under my leaky faucet for some weird reason.

First friday of summer! I am beyond excited!

Kicking off the season with my cell pictures for the week!

Keeping with our tradition and doing our sunday family bike rides! This time, our pup, kipper, went along for the ride.

so fun!

I was so inspired that I even rode again later in the week. Loving this spring weather, while it lasts for all of 4 hours.

I refreshed after with a passion tea. So yummy and for only a dollar something and the fact that it has zero calories, I am in love!

Letting this kiddo fake drive is the funniest thing ever. Except for when I get in the car after I leave and my wipers go crazy and every single light is on in my car. Ya, fun times. 

just a random shot of me. yes, still hate my hair. Still regret ever stepping into the salon. boooo!

let me tell you that this is the best meal ever. It would have been better if I had fresh basil, but its still pretty great. hint water is the bomb. (cant believe I just used that phrase.)

Oh sleepy doggies. Arent they adorable. This little guy was sound asleep and having wild dreams. He kept barking and yelping....hehe so cute
