What I wore wednesday

I started documenting my outfits to provide as a sort of an accountability factor. I am in college, and it is so easy for me to just want to roll out of bed and find whatever is clean and throw it on.

I found myself wearing nothing but Tshirts and jeans.

I felt bad about myself.

Now, I put an extra 10 minutes into my appearance, and my mood instantly changes.

I feel better.

This week I only have two outfits to share.

Now, this isn't because I didn't "get dressed"

I just forgot to take pictures!

Monday:

I felt very feminine in this. Probably because of the pink and lace.

I think this is the only pink clothing item I own. 

{I'm not a pink person}

but I love lace!

Pink cardi: Goodwill (old navy)

Lace blouse: F21

jeans: loft outlet

flats: macy's

The necklace was a gift, but from charming charlie.

Oh, what a dreary day this was!

It rained the whole day.

I regret not wearing my rain boots, but whatevs.

This outfit was so comfy, and the scarf is the only thing that saves this outfit from being too blah.

(yes, you read that right. I shop the mens department. Don't judge me.)

jeans: Sevens/ Goodwill (which I fixed here)

scarf: target for a whopping $4.48

Wondering why I bought a man's sweater?

it's because of these amazing arm patches.

They are the only reason why I am showing you these weird and awkward pictures.

No, I didn't just want you to see my butt.

What I Wore Wednesday: Peter Pan Edition!

I have been obsessed with Peter Pan collars.

What I wore wednesday

Well, we are half way there folks! It's wednesday which means it's two(!!) days till Friday.

I, personally, am counting down.

Anywho, it's wednesday which means I'm linking up with lindsey for what I wore this week!

This is one of those outfits that looked better in my head.

Dress (which I believe is actually a top, but that will never happen)- Goodwill (Papaya) ~$6

I love this sweater! It is probably my favorite thing to wear right now.

I threw it on minutes before running out of the house.

If i'd had more time, I would've put on earrings, and a pair of green wedges, oh and probably would've fixed my hair!

What I Wore Wednesday

It's the first WIWW of the year! 

I have to say though, I took these pictures before I left on vacation

but I never got around to posting them last week.

Only thing that's changed is the weather!

Texas weather is definelty warmer than on top of this mountain.

(except the big D got a white Christmas!)

anyways, here is what I wore doing some last minute shopping and running errands

glasses: target via goodwill

I was so excited when I saw this deer shirt at goodwill! It was brand new from target, and cost me $8 (which is more than I usually spend) but I love it.

bag: kate spade (a gift from my wonderful mother)

earrings: target

flats: macy's

jeans were a clearance find from target.

Funny side note: I really wanted these jeans, but didn't want to pay full price. I waited and waited and finally forgot about them. When I was browsing the 70% off clearance section of target (the only place I go to) I saw them in my size....

the price was amazing. I was so excited and happy I waited. 

See, I even follow my own tips.

What I wore: Stripes and Dots & 99.9% Thrifted

Last saturday, I was frantically searching for the perfect outfit to wear my first Christmas party of the season. I needed something semi festive, but also not very warm

 It was 70* saturday, and today it's 20*....gotta love Texas!

Of course, you should already know that the first place I look is pinterest.

I saw this picture, and knew I already had all the pieces in my closet. 

Except, I wanted to add pops of red to make it more "christmas-y"

This is what I came up with:

and here is the best part...

it is 99.9% thrifted!

Striped tee (Jcrew) skirt, necklace and belt- goodwill

seriously, I love goodwill.

and the shoes were purchased at macy's for 70% off...

( I'd hardly consider that "retail")

but, Im honest, thus the 99.9%.

What I Wore Wednesday- A Week of Blah...

Hey Y'all! Welcome back for What I Wore Wednesday!

If you're new here, I started doing WIWW because I found myself wearing nothing but T-shirts and jeans to class.

I hated it and made a simple change. 

10 minutes.

That's it. Now, I feel so much better about myself!

Anyways, 

As I was uploading pictures for this post, I realized that everything I wore (ok, took pictures of), was basically the same color.

Blah.

So, this week, I am challenging myself to more color!

Enough chatter, lets begin!

but it is still beige and boring.
